Connacht Minor Football championship

Galway crash out of Minor Championship At Tuam Stadium on Saturday evening we were beaten by Roscommon by 0-14 to 1-12 having lead at half time by one point 0-6 to 0-5 we raced into a five point lead mid way through the second half leading by 0-10 to 0-5 and we seemed to loose our focus both on and off the field as the winners punished us scoring 1-3 in the last minutes of the half and were unlucky not to score a winner in injury time as the whistle sounded it saw us level 0-11 to 1-8.We lost full back Colin Forde and worse was to follow in extra time as J.J Greaney was red carded and Roscommon scored two points in the first period and we struggled to find the target despite have a number of scoring chances. In the second period we found our scoring range as we shot three points but the winners added two to ease into the a Connacht Final date with Mayo on July 13th
