Congratulations to Paul Howard who has become the latest Kilnadeema/Leitrim goalkeeping star after his selection on the Galway Under 16 county team which played in the All Ireland championship in Tipperary on August 25th. Paul let in just one goal in two game as Galway were unlucky to be knocked out on scoring average. Paul was outstanding all through. Paul, who was unlucky not to be selected two years ago at Under 14 level now will hope to go on and achieve what Mark Herlihy did and play for Galway in Croke Park in Minor in two years time. He certainly has the ability. He follows a long line of Goalie's from the club who played for Galway especially Mark Herlihy, Kevin Boyle and Noel Callagy.
