Under 14 success highlight of year as John Whelan is elected new intermediate manager for 2008
The Annual general Meeting of Kilnadeema/Leitrim senior and juvenile clubs took place recently. The adult Agm was held in Leitrim community centre with over 100 in attendance. outgoing chairman barney Callanan in his address said it was a busy year for all concerned with the club. He said 10 teams were fielded in all competitions with the highlight of the year being the under 14 success over Killimor in the county final. He congratulated all concerned with the victory. At adult level he thought the Junior B team were unlucky not to make the semi finals after a 3 game marathon to Rahoon Newcastle. He was disssapointed with the Intermediate teams display in the quarter final against Mellick Eyrecoart which went to a replay but looked forward to the league final against Moycullen which has still to come. He thought the minor team did well early in the competition until the long summer break came. He congratulated the under 21 team on reaching a semi final. he congratulated the players from the club who represented Galway during the year especially David Tierney, Eamon Hyland, Liam Geargthy, Ton Tierney, Mark Herlihy and Paul Howard. He thanked John Skelly for the use of the community centre. he congratulated all concerned with the fund raising success for the development of Kilnadeema pitch . he thanked all the club sponsors especially the main sponsor Gerry Walsh. he was also very thankful to Dymphna and Donal Herlihy and Marie Skelly for all their first aid work during the year. He finished by thanking his fellow officers.
Treasurer Gerry Walsh presented a very comprehensive treasurers report which showed the club e2000 better off after a very well run financial year. he thanked all sponsors and all who contributed to the fund raising throughout the year both for the day to day running of the club and the redevelopment of Kilnadeema pitch.

The juvenile club Agm was held in the Krush bar recently. a good crowd were present.

He also said well done to the under 12 team which the A semi final for the first time ever. He thanked all who made the parish league such a success.
