John Whelan of Kylebrack was elected the new Manager of the Kilnadeema/Leitrim Intermediate team for 2008 succeeding Mick Flanagan. John who managed the Under 21 team for the previous two years has worked with most of these players since Under 16 level when he brought a  county title to the parish. John is a man who will leave no stone un turned in his quest for success for this team. He has chosen Joe Kenny and Gerry Gardiner as his selectors and John Rock as Trainer
