Hurling,
Fishing, Gaelic Football and Volleyball star
Conor Cunningham of Grousehill, in Kilnadeema
has had a might few weeks in sport
staring in Hurling, Gaelic Football, Volleyball and Fishing. Conor
was captain of the Kilnadeema/Leitrim Under 14 team which reached
the quarter finals of Feile na nGeal for the very first time. He was
outstanding at full back all through. Conor also played Under 14
Football with Loughrea in Feile Peile na nÓg. Conor then starred
with St Raphael's collage when the won the 2nd year All Ireland
Volleyball title, also on this team was Shane Lawless and Conor
Whelan of Kilnadeema. Conor's achievements in sport were concluded
on the tranquil lake in Loughrea recently when he partnered Aiden
Hodgins to victory in prestigious Barrett Cup for fishing catching
two fish 3lb's weight. Conor has high hopes of more victories at
this particular sport. |
