Castlegar a step too far for Under 12 team

Kilnadeema/Leitrim Under 12 team came crashing back down to earth with a bang after their great start to the championship when they took on city side Castlegar in Leitrim on Monday June 9th. While they played very well in the second half they were all at sea in the first as Castlegar built up a commanding lead 10 points as Kilnadeema/Leitrim failed to score. Andrew Connolly with 2.01 and Padraig Crawley with a goal were the Castlegar scorers. In the second half it was more even with Liam Kelly scoring all 1.02 of Kilnadeema/Leitrim's score. Peter Healy and Michael O'Connell replyed with goals for Castlegar to leave the final score reading 1.02 to 5.01.
