Kilnadeema/Leitrim Under 14 team recorded a hard earned victory over a good Killimor team in the championship in Killimor on Monday April 23rd. After the team losing out narrowly last week to Killimordaly it was very important to bounce back with a victory in this game as both sides were in contention to join Killimordaly in the quarter finals. Kilnadeema/Leitrim had the breeze in the first half and found it very hard to break down a strong Killimor defence but the breakthrough came first with a Brian Molloy goal after 2 minutes. The team then went 13 more minutes without a score before Colin Moran struck a good point and Shane lawless added another before half time to put his side ahead by 1-02 to 0-01 at the break. Not a very big lead and this we thought might put the team under pressure in the second half but Kilnadeema/Leitrim had other idea's and gave a wonderful display in that half to out score Killimor by 0.04 to 0.01. Points from Brian Molloy, Shane lawless, Stephen Bruton and Shane lawless again wrapped up the game. This was  a great performance and gives great hope for the future.
